Ok, so maybe team isn’t the right word choice. Right now it’s more of a one man band that consists of me, Kyle Vietti. Although I don’t currently have any employees, I do have a network of experts in various subject matters that I can turn to if needed.
My original interest was in computers/technology and I enjoyed fixing, building, and networking computers. I worked 4 summers during college as an intern in IT doing various things from: enterprise hardware selection (computers, laptops, monitors, printers, cell phones), windows server support, data center network support, and research for a data center strategy/recommendation. After graduating from Bradley University in 2005 with a degree in Management Information Systems, I spent my first two years as a full time employee doing IT process improvement and reporting/analysis.
Seeking a more customer and business focused job I spend the next 3 years as a Senior Research Analyst focusing on web/digital analytics. This position also allowed me to delve further into my interest in business and marketing and allowed me to explore my passion for science, research, and understanding why people do what they do. Marketing and research/analysis is particularly interesting to me because it’s a combination of technology, business, and science. All of which are topics that I truly enjoy learning more about and discussing.
Even though I enjoyed the people I worked with, and the work I was doing; I realized it was time for a change. As someone who values tangible results, cringes at inefficiency/waste, and has an entrepreneurial spirit; working at a large company became difficult. During my time at Bradley and over the first five years of my career, I was fortunate enough to be exposed to people with various perspectives, knowledge, skills, and interests. These people helped me expand my knowledge and shape the philosophies that serve as the foundation for 1103 Marketing.
